The Problem

TRAFFIC is perhaps the one word synonym for delay, frustration and waste of time in our lives today. It is the one part of life we always try to avoid from starting way too early to taking those unknown streets to bypass the jammed roads. And how many times haven't we thought, " I wish somebody would have told me about this alternate route?".

The Product

OurLocate is a service. We started in 2009 to relieve some of that stress by informing you about the traffic situation before you hit the road or when you plan to hit the road. You don't need to go online or search for your destination. The alerts come searching for you at the right time. OurLocate is both an iPhone and Web application that can be used by all users to receive the right information at the right time. You can read more in the review section. The Solution

We are trying to get together various sources of traffic information so that the alerts that reach to you are more and more relevant information at RELEAVANT TIME. Right now we are using API from yahoo, crowd sourcing to inform people of appropriate data.

The Future

We are definitely working on improving the service using various methods. OurLocate will be soon available on Android and Windows Mobile.
